Terms and Conditions
All pets regardless of age must have completed and updated vaccinations.We are happy to take puppies and kittens with acceptable vaccinations. This is solely the responsibilty of the owner . Kiaora Park Pet Care will not be liable to illness resulting from non disclosure or manipulation of this . A current vet certifcate must be provided .
Dogs require a C5 or Equivalent (C3 + KC ), . Cats need to have a F3, F4 or F5 ideally given 5 days or greater before check in. Undesexed animals with a permit , or animals with medical conditions can be accepted subject to consultation . Please note within the ACT as stated by the Animal Practice code of Welfare 2010, all dogs must be desexed unless a permit is held .
Kiaora Park Pet Care reserves the right to refuse or decline a booking at any time without reason. We reserve the right to refuse entry for any reason we so determine at our discretion, including our own purpose.
The owner agrees to pay the rate for boarding that is in effect on the date that the pet is checked in to Kiaora Park Pet Care .
Boarding rates are charged on a per calendar day basis and inclusive of GST.
Dog Suites: If in the event the pet damages furniture, bedding or any part of the suite, clients MAY be charged for the damage incurred.
The owner agrees to admit pets based on the understanding that the pet has been in a similar environment .
The owner agrees to disclose any medical conditons which may or may not need treatment or may contribute to the management and care of the pet during their stay .
The owner is obliged to disclose ANY behavioural conditions which may affect the management and care of the animal. If ANY animal is considered a dangerous animal as declared by the Registrar under the Domestic Animals Act 2000 ,this must be disclosed. A risk assessment will be made and acceptance of the animal is at the discretion of Kiaora Park Pet Care . Owners must understand the safety of staff and boarding animals is paramount and care may be refused.
Kiaora Park Pet Care , it's employees or agents, will not be held responsible for Paralysis Tick, Canine Influenza, injury, death, loss or damage of any kind that may occur to any pet staying at Kiaora Park Pet Care .
Pets will not be released to any person except the nominated owner unless prior arrangements have been made.
If veterinary attention is deemed necessary for the pet, the owner is liable for all such expenses. Kiaora Park Pet Care will make every effort to consult owners before any treatment is delivered and will make what is deemed to be the best decision for the animal at the time. However in the event of an emergency KPPC will make a judgement call. Please advise if you do not wish your animal to be treated.
The owner specifically represents that he or she is the sole owner of the pet, free and clear of all liens and encumbrances.
All pets must be contained (cats) or on a leash (dogs) whilst on the property AT ALL TIMES.
Early check out is permitted however NO refund or credit will be given for unused boarding
Deposits of $ 100 are payable on booking and are NON REFUNDABLE but can be held in credit if cancellation is outside 7 days of arrival.
Cancellation within 7 days of boarding will incur a $100 cancellation fee.
Public Holidays attracte a 20% charge of the daily rate per Public holiday
Half day rates are not available on Public holidays .
Minimum stays apply during school holiday , Easter, Christmas and long weekend stays.
Payment is due in full at the time of check in or check out . Credit will not be given.
